Stay Golden Host Agreement
By joining Stay Golden as a host, you agree to the following terms:
1. Role of Stay Golden
Stay Golden provides a platform and system that enables independent hosts to offer curated arrival experiences to their guests.
Stay Golden provides the digital platform, guest ordering experience, experience concepts, guidelines, and supporting resources. Stay Golden is not responsible for purchasing, preparing, delivering, or physically fulfilling experiences.
2. Host Responsibilities
As a host, you agree to:
Purchase, prepare, and provide all items required to fulfill guest orders
Prepare each experience according to Stay Golden guidelines
Ensure all items are fresh, clean, safe, and accurately presented
Maintain a high standard of styling and presentation
Fulfill confirmed orders on time and as described
Communicate promptly if an issue arises
3. Experience Standards
All experiences must:
Match the visual and quality standards shown in the Stay Golden Experience Gallery and host guidelines
Be clean, thoughtfully styled, and ready to enjoy upon the guest's arrival
Avoid visible grocery packaging or unprepared items unless specifically included as part of the experience
4. Order Fulfillment
Hosts are responsible for reviewing and fulfilling guest orders within the required timeframe
Hosts are responsible for purchasing, preparing, styling, and placing all items prior to guest arrival
Hosts are responsible for the cost of products and supplies used to fulfill experiences
Repeated failure to fulfill confirmed orders or meet Stay Golden standards may result in removal from the platform
5. Monthly Membership & Payments
Hosts pay Stay Golden a $59 monthly membership fee for access to the Stay Golden platform and host program
The monthly membership fee provides access to the Stay Golden platform, experience offerings, guest ordering system, host resources, and ongoing platform support
Hosts keep 100% of the revenue from completed experiences and 100% of guest tips, subject to any applicable payment processing fees, refunds, taxes, or other transaction-related charges
The $59 monthly membership fee will be billed on a recurring monthly basis until canceled
Monthly membership fees are non-refundable once billed, except where required by law
Cancellation of the monthly membership will end the host's access to the Stay Golden platform and program at the conclusion of the applicable billing period
6. Guest Payments
Stay Golden may facilitate guest payments through the Stay Golden platform. Hosts acknowledge that payment processing may be subject to third-party processing fees and other applicable transaction charges.
Payment and payout procedures, including timing and method of host payouts, will be communicated to hosts through Stay Golden's current host guidelines.
7. Refunds & Guest Issues
Hosts may be responsible for refunds or adjustments when an experience is not fulfilled or is materially different from what was ordered
Stay Golden reserves the right to issue or facilitate refunds to guests when reasonably necessary to resolve an order or service issue
Any amounts refunded due to a host's failure to properly fulfill an experience may be deducted from amounts otherwise payable to the host, where applicable
8. Independent Provider Status
Hosts operate as independent providers and are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Stay Golden.
Hosts are responsible for their own business operations, expenses, supplies, fulfillment activities, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
9. Removal from Platform
Stay Golden reserves the right to suspend or remove a host from the platform for failure to meet Stay Golden quality, fulfillment, service, or guest experience standards, or for violation of this Agreement.
10. Updates
Stay Golden may update these terms as the platform and host program evolve. Hosts will be notified of material changes when appropriate. Continued participation in the Stay Golden host program following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
